Execute to develop bio-entrepreneurship program for South Africa
Execute has entered into a commercial relationship with Cape Biotech Trust to develop an internationally accredited regional bio-entrepreneurship training program aimed at transferring essential bio-business skills to university scientists, budding entrepreneurs and early-stage industrialists in South Africa.
The primary objective of the program will be the development and retention of the bio-business skills required to grow the Western Cape region’s Biotech industry.
The program will comprise a combination of: global industry perspective seminars; MBA courses and electives; and practical business skills courses. A minimum of 10 students will graduate from the program each year with a target of achieving a critical mass of bio-entrepreneurs in the Western Cape region over the next decade.

The recruitment of students for the program will begin in 2006.
